Rivar Technologies Inc. was among three Internet software company finalists at the Comdex Fall 2001 "Best of Show" awards.

Finalists and winners were announced Nov. 14 in Las Vegas.

Rivar's patented Web application, CODE:NEO, was designed by Gene Savar, president and chief executive officer, and Vince Risalvato, chief technology officer.

"When we get back to Florida we are going to try and satisfy all the people that have purchased our software and will be hiring more people in Clearwater to handle our business," Savar said.
