Rivar recognized at Comdex Fall 2001

Rivar Technologies Inc. is a finalist list for "Best Internet Software" at Comdex Fall 2001.

The winner will be announced Nov. 16 at Comdex which bills itself as the " global information technology marketplace." The event is now under way in Las Vegas.

"It's an honor to get this far and will be even better if we win the whole thing," said Gene Savar, Rivar president and chief executive officer.

CODE:NEO is the name of the patented Web application designed by Savar and Vince Risalvato, Rivar chief technology officer.

Bill Gates, Microsoft Corp. founder, won the "Best Internet Software" award in 1983 for Windows 1.0.
